SKYHY Nutrition Lounge Opens in Downtown Geneva
Geneva BID Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony During Grand Opening Weekend
What: The Geneva BID is thrilled to welcome new business SKYHY Nutrition Lounge to downtown Geneva. A grand opening celebration will be held to invite community members to experience this new local “health movement!”
The grand opening celebration will include a day of tastings, raffles, door prizes, and healthy treats. SKYHY will also celebrate #PINK OCTOBER with a breast cancer awareness information table and donating 50 percent of the proceeds to charity.
When: Saturday, October 24, 2020 at noon (SKYHY Nutrition Lounge will be open from 10:00am to 3:00pm)
Where: SKYHY Nutrition Lounge, 134 Castle Street, Geneva NY 14424 (corner of Castle and Elm Streets)
Who: Ownership and staff of the SKYHY Nutrition Lounge, representatives from the GBID and invited guests including: New York State Sen. Pam Helming; New York Assemblyman Brian Kolb; Geneva Mayor Steve Valentino and Geneva City Councilmembers Laura Salamendra and Tom Burrall
Why: SKYHY Nutrition Lounge’s mission is to bring better health choices to communities that are Underserved; and SKYHY wants to make healthy life affordable through their shakes and Teas. Community and Integrity are core values for this new business: “we pride ourselves on educating people and providing people some of the best health and wellness alternatives,” said owner and Geneva native Trena Mainor.

COVID-19 Safety Guidelines: the GBID instituted an event safety plan including socially distancing participants and guests, and requiring wearing of masks, sanitizing hands and other best practice guidelines.
